  • Can I see a sample?
Of course. Since every plan is different, it's hard to post a sample on our website. If you'd like to see a sample Assessment or Design, click here to let us know where to send it.
  • How does the 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee work?
It's simple. If you do not find our work valuable, then you can request a full refund within 7 days of delivery.
  • Why do you offer to refund Assessment and Design fees if I choose to Implement?
Most likely, if you implement your plan with us, it will involve hiring our investment management team, or purchasing insurance. We charge a management on investments, and we are paid directly by the insurance company you choose. We do not feel it is fair for us to be paid twice. Click here to learn more about our investment and insurance capabilities.
  • How much time will this take?
It depends what services you ask for. Before the initial Discussion, we may ask that you fill out a basic questionnaire that should take 15 minutes or less to complete. The initial Discussion is a 1 hour meeting. Depending on the conversation, additional documents may be required from you after the meeting. It will take us one week to prepare your Assessment. We will deliver and review your Assessment in another 1 hour meeting. If you choose for us to Design a plan, it will take us one week. We will deliver and your review your Design in a 1 hour meeting. If you choose to implement, exact amount of time will vary. From pre-Discussion through Design delivery, you can expect to spend 3-4 hours in total.
  • Where do we meet?
You have choices. We are a fully functional virtual firm, which means we can meet virtually. If you prefer in-person meetings,we have partnered with The Common Desk to access conference rooms conveniently spread throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. See locations.
  • What information will you need from me?
Just how a dentist needs to see your teeth, we need to see your basic financial information. Obviously, the more information you provide, the better we can do our job, but we also recognize the sensitivity of financial information. Our Basic Questionnaire is high-level and non-invasive. It mostly asks for types of accounts and current account balances, and does not ask for account numbers or any personal information beyond name of the account holder.
  • Why does this process work?
We believe this process works for two reasons. 1) It puts advice first, which is what people really need. 2) It aligns our incentives as best as possible. Many advisors are only paid if you hire them to manage your money or buy insurance from them. This creates pressure to "move money." Our process allows you to simply pay for advice, and if you choose to hire us or buy from us, receive your money back.
